samsung 8E fault

    samsung washing machine
    Q1433SG S/XEU
    will fill to level, then no drum action, then 8E fault.
    select spin, it will drain but no drum action, then 8E fault.
    motor and tacho appears to be ok,
    anyone know what 8E is, (not in ukw fault codes book).
    iam guessing pcb, but it looks expensive.

    Hi

    8E is over current error sensed by Main PCB, which from experience is either the motor or the main power board PCB

    If motor meters out ok as you say then yes its a PCB error.
