    Hi – please help!

    New to all this forum stuff so apologies if I don’t do it right.

    My washing machine is not filling, water is getting into the trays and that water is getting into the drum but no other water gets into the machine (The water going into the tray is stone cold). So the clothes come out dirty virtually dry but smelling nice 😕 I know we’re all supposed to be green and saving water but this is ridiculous :rolls: My husband told me yesterday it was making a racket but today all quiet??? Ive tried it today on a 30 and 60 wash and results exactly the same.

    I hope you can help as I have a 9month old daughter who is very messy and a equally messy builder of a husband. Thanks in advance.

    Hi

    This is a cold fill machine , as for not washing correctly if drain hose goes into a stand pipe make sure it does not push more than 6 inches into pipe. If end of pipe is lower than the water level in machine it can syphon out.

    Thanks for that but this is not the problem. The pipe is not lower than the machine, and we’ve been using the machine for 2 years without problem.

    Any other suggestions?

    Water into trays and water into drum. That is the only place the water is meant to go!?!

    When the machine has filled with water does the drum start turning??

    Sorry Im not being clear, the only water that gets into the drum is that from the tray, the drum is not filling with water directly. I thought water filled the drum directly as well as coming in from the tray 😕

    My machine is washing the clothes with about a pint of water so nothing is getting washed properly or rinsed. It doesn’t rinse (but will put water onto the softner section of tray).

    You must all think Im a total dimwit 😳

    Well then I guess the problem is that there isn’t enough water getting into the machine then?

    Dont know this model that well but have you got low water pressure where you are? sounds like filling up slowly and programme is advancing before it’s filled up enough.
    check inlet hose is not kinked,the filter where the inlet hose meets the machine ain’t clogged up the water pressure coming into machine is enough etc.
    I’m sorry it is difficult to diagnose faults without seeing the appliance.

    Will have a fiddle with the hoses.

    Yes other than the lack of water it is acting normally.
