There is a thermistor on the evap and one at the bottom which i cant find part no’s for (cant see on diagram either) Any ideas? Or am i barking up the wrong tree anyway?

    Cheers

the thermistors on the hotpoint range are non replaceable they rely on the module gathering information from them while they work and if they should fail then the average temp info that the module has gathered keeps it running, But in your case it just sound like a module failure to me. each comes pre programmed (apparantly) with average useage times.
