    Have just removed pound coin from filter housing on above washing machine after it stopped. Now nothing turn machine on door locks and nothing . Any help please

    No start is a classic symptom of the drive motor being out of circuit – carbon brushes may be worn out. Good info HERE.

    Power off first.

    brushes seem ok. but whilst i had it turn up i checked the pipes off the pump and found one solid with fur and crude. Cleaned this out now the wash starts but the dial keeps turning round? Any ideas

    Count the pattern of the flashing light, ie – 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat.

    Have done a reset and now seems ok touch wood. Think blocked pipes and moving bushes helped. Thanks loads

    i think id be checking the brushes properly.. if they need changing.. if theyre duff, they WILL cause motor damage, and possible pcb failure… very costly for £10 brushes
