ParticipantF & P Smart Drive 058 – It will not engage for filling or spinning, just jolts as it attempts to rotate, the touch pad seems ok and is functioning.
After the machine has finished attempting to start any cycle it starts beeping and the (from Left to Right) third and last green light stay on and the second yellow and red spin lights are also on. (00101011 – I think?)
What is wrong???? How can I fix it!!!

Out of balance switch faulty. Remove top deck for access – switch suffers from corrosion and soggy wiring. Also check bias spring is located on tub and casing.

Hi I’ve got a GW509NZ with the same fault code. It won’t fill, just goes in short burts for 5-6 tries then beep, beep with the 00101011 fault code. Is this the same problem as discussed here?
If so, what is involved in removing the top deck for access??
Cheers, Spyder

Great. Have explored and seen the switch. Will try and buy a replacement today. How does it come out?
