    Hi
    this relatively expensive unit has stopped cooling after 6 years of operation! fridge shows +4 with slight frost at rear, buts stuffer appears less cooler than before. Freezer approx -2 but set to -18 – definately not freezing. went to -16 after first switch-off following fault discovery and few hours defrost.

    No ice or blockages and fans seem to work okay. Front sides of freezer are warm-to-hot. Beathes like darth vader, and rarely makes cracking noise. continuously operting/wirring.

    Any thoughts on quick fix or checks or i is it a bosch service callout – what costs can i expect?

    hi – an update

    following a few hours switch-off, the freezer went to down to -18 for a day and has now completely packed up. the fridge seems to be okay.

    Any thoughts to diagnosis?
