    samsung w/m ..model…WFJ 145 N…on any programe, water in, wash action and drain pump runnin all the time so it never fills..fault light 4E.. whats the cause/cure??

    servis d/w model m491 WC…any programe…drain pump, water in , water stops ..not enough to fill the sump filter..no motor action, no progress…is it likely to be the level/ pressure switch? or something else?

    samsung 4E is water fill problem.

    servis pressure switch fault.

    bob, thanks for info..on the samsung w/m .what is the cause of the drain pump running on all programs? its 16month old and has a a main board and a drain pump already…customer is not pleased..

    Richard,
    The Samsung automatically has a 2 yr guarantee.
    4E is “water leak”…there was a problem with pressure hose cracking at the top or bottom.
    New part no DC62-10311A

    robbra. thanks for tip…i have been told that samsung have withdrawn the 2 year warranty on some appliances!!!!

    Is it the drain pump all can she hear a recycle pump ???

    definately the drain pump…door locks, hear drain pump as water enters. the water level never reaches the bottom of the inner drum and i have the drain hose in the sink and the water just flows out..

    Never seen a Samsung yet but remember that a few machines (e.g. some Servis) wire the pump in series with a water valve as a flood prevention mechanism. (Pump o/c = no fill).
    When, as occasionally happens, solenoid goes short circuit, pump comes on continuously on all progs..
    Possibly valve could go low resistance and still let some water in at same time as pump pumping. It’s a long shot, I know, but nothing would surprise me any more.

    Because the pressure switch doesn’t register as full with the damaged p/sw hose the pcb automatically starts pump as it thinks the machine is leaking. Hence 4E code

    samsung ….haven’t solved this one yet. customer has loan w/m so is ok. i’ve been away etc etc…ok..running this w/m….select any wash/rinse programme, door locks, drain pump runs, water in….drain pump runs and runs…machine in workshop so no rush at the moment but I WANT TO SOLVE IT 😈
