    give us a clue, make, model, fridge, freezer, fridge freezer, ?
    compressor manufacurer and type of refrigerant.

    sorry the make is the acc (or that is what it looks like) r600a fitted to a servis f/frzr not sure on model at mo.

    Heres’ how I use the R600A compressors :

    1/8 small under counter fridges
    1/6 under counter freezers & upto 4′ fridges
    1/5 4′ & above fridges and upto 5′ fridge freezers
    1/4 anything larger than above

    Look at the rating plate for the watts consumed. Divide by 746 and you get a rough H.P. I know the heater is included, but the plate should give the total power consumed at any given time, and ideally the d/f heater won’t be on at the same time as the compressor. In any case you err on the side of caution. The lamp is usually 15w if you want to be precise.

    Bryans chart as above is a good yardstick.
