    Wonder if someone can advise?
    Got a 12 year old Smeg fridge(FR158) which won’t cool down
    – there is frost on the top back wall
    – compressor seems to continuosly run

    Tried leaving off for 1hr and the frost disappeared but still won’t cool to 4degC

    Checked the rest of the forum but no joy

    Any hints or tips appreciated? 🙁

    Following up
    – pulled out the fridge and clean out the area around the fan and black condenser(?) – lots of fluff (yuk) – doesn’t feel that warm on the compressor and still seeing ice on the inside wall on the top and back.

    Ran overnight but still not measuring near 4 degC.

    Door seal seams intact = just that the fan seam to run continuously
