    Hi there. Just found this great forum.
    The dispenser door on my Smeg uk stx 1 dishwasher stays closed during its cycle. Any thoughts on this problem. I have read some posts that mention the solenoid on the door. Any help would be greatly received.

    also is there a way to put a tablet or liquid in manually?

    Short term, drop the tablet in the cutlery basket.

    Thanks for that Penguin 45. i’ll try that in the meantime with the tablet, and order a dispenser. By the way is it true that this fault can cause the PCB to blow? if so how have you got a part No. for that?
