    Hi there

I’m just about to buy a new kitchen from Howdens, but I have refused to buy their integrated appliances. Their prices are unbelievably high. So, I am going to buy my own integrated appliances (fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher), but I need some advice in the first instance:

    1. Will any integrated washing machine and dishwasher fit into the Howdens unit? I’ve noticed that some of the washing machines and dishwashers are slightly different sizes. Does this matter?

    2. Will I be able to attach my Howdens door unit to any integrated appliance? I’m particualr worried about the integrated dishwasher.

    3. Are all integrated fridge freezers a 50:50 split?

I really look forward to receiving any help and advice any of you can offer.

    Many thanks

    Hi Hopidol

There should be no problem in fitting any integrated washer or dishwasher into any brand of kitchen units.

As for the door sizes you just need to be clear when ordering them, whether these are going to be semi integrated appliances ( where the control panels are seen) or fully integrated ( where the controls are not visible unless a door is opened)

Integrated refrigeration comes in a few splits so again you need to be sure which split is best for you. They come in 50:50, 60:40 and 70:30 combinations.
