ParticipantHow many ISE’s are out there to date? Someone asked me that question today and I must admit to guessing. My guess was 2000. :innocent:
It would be great to know the true figures.Steve.

KeymasterI don’t know exactly but… I do know that you’re way short of the mark. 😉
Try about 4-5000 and you’re probably closer.

Approximately…
ISE5 Mk1 >6{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}
ISE5Mk2 > 4{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}
ISE2 > 4{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}
ISE10 > 1{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} (much less, like about 2 genuine faults)From that once you take out the non-faults and customer being a muppet faults, they’ve all proved to be pretty good thus far. Of course we are seeing more of the Mk1 5 now as some of those are hitting three years old and, even from the calls we can tell that some of them are having a hard life.
Also when you filter the results a bit, like some people replacing a motor because the carbons were faulty (tut, tut) and consider that of all the boards we get back that only about 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} are actually faulty the figure drops further still.
There’s also no recurring faults really. You see a little burst of components every now and then, like about 10 or 20 over a month or two, but nothing that gives any cause for concern.
The 10’s though are just wonderful things, they just don’t break. 😉
