ParticipantHi all,
I have the above dishwasher and suddenly it’s developed the 6-flashes fault. As I turn the machine on, it starts filling (I think) and then gives the continuous beep-beep-beep. The start button flashes six times then short pause and another 6 flashes. I read somewhere that the F6 fault is a possible blockage of the drainage system but would this happen even before it gets to that point of a program??
Thanks in advance

Flow meter failure. Water is coming in, but flow meter is not registering the flow.
Remove left hand side panel, flow meter is in the bottom of the water matrix. Usual problem is oxidisation of the contacts. Remove connector, thoroughly clean the edge of the pcb, give the conector a pinch and refit. 9/10 that’ll fix it. If it doesn’t, you’ll need one of THESE.
Power off, if yoy are doing this yourself.

thanks for the response penguin.
The machine has only been used for about 3 months but was fitted about 13 months ago…..typical!
I’ll try your advice and let you know how I get on.
thanks again

Hi Penguin,
Just had a go at following your guide but I ain’t even sure what/where the ‘left hand side panel’ is!! 😳
The machine is integrated and there doesn’t seem to be a panel on the hand side. Any advice for an old heejut?
cheers

As this involves uninstalling, disassembling and manipulating electrical contacts maybe it’s time to call someone in?
You could try the link below to find someone local to you?
HTH?

Water is definitely going in, albeit a very small about……maybe a litre or so. Anyway, I have found where all the gubbins hide and have disconnected/reconnected just about every contact possible! All are very clean and bright so it may be best to get someone in. Cheers guys for the help.
