ParticipantHi All, Recently changed the board on this machine after 4 badly burnt connections. Now there is no life in it at all. I set the program and the display lights up and press the start button, but nothing at all. even changed the interlock and sent the board back to emw but still nothing?
I have checked all the connections and they all seem to be fine. Has anyone got a wiring diagram for this machine? just so i can check the connections again.
Many Thanks.

Hi
This machine has the Janus programmable module , when you switched the machine on did you allow the button module enough time to reprogram the main module. You have to allow at least 30 seconds for this without touching any buttons.

Could you check the serial number on this one please – according to my disc this is not a Janus machine.

Hi
M6713W only shows one module 546089200 which is the Janus module.

I would check the switch behind the start button. Switch prone to breaking away from pcb.

Hi Guys, Thank you all for your suggestions. Unfortunately still can’t get this machine to work. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this machine please? I just want to double check that i have got all the connections in the right order. I have noticed that when the dial is in the off position, that the start light flashes? but doesn’t when i set it to a program?
Thankyou all for your help.
Much appreciated.

What was the part number of the board you fitted??
I wouldn’t have thought it was a wiring error on your behalf because you said you fitted the board recently. so I assume it worked ok for a while after you fitted it??

Thanks

Hi
It is posible to fit the top big connector block and small block the wrong way round , as the key on the block is the same both ways. If connected the wrong way machine will not work , it does not do any damage to board I have done this a couple of times when distracted by customer.

What was the part number of the board fitted? was it 546089200?
If its is the above module then I would say either its a wiring problem or the module fitted has been programmed with the wrong information.
On the left side of the module you should have 2 blocks of connectors. The way I remember the wiring of these is there should be 4 of the gold contacts unused at the top.
On the top of the board you have 2 more connectors. One with two wires and one with 8 I think?? I’m sure its the longer connector on the left then the smaller connector on the right??
If its a programming fault then you will either need an unprogrammed module or the Janus hand held unit to re-do the tag insertion.
The wiring is from my memory!!!!!!!!!
