    Been offered a load of these that are returns (all current models) any opinions on servis machines would be appriciated, eg spares prices & technical info , is there a disk you can get with explode diagrams etc ?

    I don’t see them too often – but this last week I had 2 back to back with blown boards. :/

    My advice is, avoid.

    They seem to be not too robust with, as wench says, modules are a weak point. Usually modules are upwards of £60 ex VAT, so probably more than you’re paying for the machines and motors you don’t want to know about.

    I heard a rumour that the returns were being sold for £35 (or less) a throw at one point due to the volume of them coming back.

    If you do get them sell them as “sold as seen, second hand” as that will mitigate some hassle but not a lot if it goes South on you.
