Called to above today, firstly it will not allow you to cancel prog by selecting stop. When selecting a rinse /spin prog it does a full wash. I meggered motor and heater and hung a pump on. Now is it it the prog selector or pcb?
Any help appreciated.
I would vote for the module…had quite a few like this. Janus so you would need the kit to programme unless you had it from EMW.
As ever the serial no. is very helpful on Servis m/c

If you change the main module on the Janus type the front pcb will program the main module once you switch on the machine. (as long as the Janus module hasn’t been programmed before, as in returned stock back to servis etc).
This model could be both types, Janus or pre-Janus.
I still would put money on it being the selector though.
changed tonnes of selectors on these for this kind of fault if you select stop to reset and it doesnt move the dial really slowly either way and you will find it resets change the selector and all will be well again.
tell cust to open filter flap if there are a series of 2 digit numbers down the side of the sticker it is janus if not it aint.personally i would do just selector as i have changed loads
