ParticipantCustomer has washed her waxy candle holders and dishwasher would not empty. Poured hot water down and it drained ok. On first customer wash it kept filling and water pouring out. mushroom works. Called back found it fills to mushroom overfill activated, drains then fills with no wash pump start, all night over and over. Cleaned magnet worked ok. Now after 2nd hot wash it has returned to flooding.
How do i get wax out of dishwasher? Will this need PCB mod as well?S.

you could try warm vinegar, use boiling water 1st to soften the wax then pour warm vinegar down, do it just after it starts to fill.
worked for me but not sure if it was a fluke….

Heavens it must be Bosch owners, I had the same problem, silly *ow had put half a dozen candles into wash. She apologised profusely, I did think of asking her if she was from Essex but thought better of it
:rolls: It took 3 visits to get it finally cleaned out (chargeable of course)September 11, 2008 at 6:17 am #262226Simon46

Ta guys. I am thinking the drain pump is sticking as well cause the mushroom does activate drain on overfill when started but at the end of the hot cycle after i have left it comes out the door.
How much vinegar, a bottle?S.

What is is with the north east of England and candles anyway? Is the place over-run with karma thinking Buddhists sitting crossed legged in a circle burning candles? Or maybe the authorities there have implemented a ban on incandescent lightbulbs already?:? 😉 🙂
