ParticipantHowdy, been lurking for a while but now looking to buy so was wandering if I could get some help.
About to get a new Howdens kitchen and going for fully integrated – pretty shocked at the extra premium for white goods for this!!
I have budgeted for £1500 for a:
Full size dishwasher
washing machine
70/30 freezer
undercounter freezer.I basically have to be in budget – even it it means going second hand for some bits (thinking freezer and f/f as no moving parts)
I will be letting the flat in 2 years time so robust/long warranty would be good.
Provisional searches have recommended Neff – but all out of budget!
Thanks in advance….

Hi there,
Unfortunately integrated appliances are a lot more expensive than free standing ones.
You could try the following company who sometimes have good prices on new excess stock and discontinued models.

All refrigeration equipment that uses a compressor has moving parts, you just can’t see them.Budget and robust/long warranty are mutually exclusive. 😉

Another question:
In my current kitchen I saw that the washing machine is shallow enough to consider a normal cupboard door in front of the standard non-build in washing machine.
Is there any reason why I cannot do this? Would open my options up to the cheaper (or higher quality) machines.

It would certainly widen your choice and if the plumbing is done correctly will make the machines far easy to access for repair than fully integrated appliances.

ParticipantDone some hardcore swatting today!
How about this for a start…..

Its rated very highly by Which? (not sure if I trust them but its all I have to go on)
I can also get a 3 year warranty for £29.
I was considering this and seeing if I can get them to price match other decent makes to get the warranty on all of them.

Zanussi dishwashers are quite decent generally.
