    Motor hums but will start if the drum turned manually.
    Couple of questions on this one, Does the motor have a centrifugal or relay start? If relay is it available as a spare. Second question as I think the customer may go for a repair, what the job like as access is very limited and if I have to get to the back of the machine it will have to be lifted over a sink, which the customer will have to do before I call.

    Hi

    Have a look here Appliancejunk.com Just type in model number and it brings up parts diagrams . The part numbers and drawing numbers are no good as Whirlpool UK use different numbering for parts and drawing numbers but it may help.

    Thanks for that Mike handy site, Looks like a new motor required then. This machine was bought from Costco and being an American company it seem they import direct from the states as the model number showed on the American site but not on Connect or Masterpart.
