Hi guys,
I wonder if you can help me again regarding this dryer that I got in May.
I thought from the instructions that by opening the door mid cycle you could check on the progress of the drying, shut it and press the flashing start button to continue where you left off. Instead I notice that the status display light goes back to the beginning and the drying light comes on even if it has progressed down towards the end.
Once it was in the cool down phase, I checked the washing, restarted the machine and it started heating up again .
Am I doing something wrong ? It won’t restart until you press the start button again.
To be honest , you shouldn’t really be opening the door mid-cycle on a dryer. It can cause the overheat temp limiter to ‘pop’ , causing heating probs.
Can i ask you why you are checking the progress mid-way ? This is an automatic sensor dryer , is it not , and therefore the load shouldn’t need checking once you have selected the drying cycle you require. Just start it and let it do it’s stuff. Its how they work best and most effeciently
If you do interrupt it , it will go back to the beginning of the selected cycle but will automatically adjust the time and heat after a few minutes once it’s checked the state of the drying load in the machine. If , for example , the cycle time goes back to the start time of 1hr50 after an interruption , after a few minutes it may well jump back down to the time and cycle stage that it was before the interruption.

If it says that you can check the progress of the washing in my instruction book then I assume that it is not detrimental to the procedure. Us ladeees like to remove certain items in a mixed load lest they get too dry for our liking. Some items are better to iron if they are not too dry.
