    Several of the links in the Lost Your Manual thread that Martin first started are/were tinyurl links.

    I suspect that Microsoft security updates to IE are now blocking tinyurl’s

    I have edited a few of them, Indesit, the Hotpoint /Creda/Ariston ones etc.

    Can someone who knows the correct URL for the Maytag & Whirpool manual web pages edit those please. 🙂

    It might be something on my system thats just started blocking them, damned if I can find out what though.

    It happens with Safari as well as IE.

    Might still be a good idea to edit them to normal links, some people are rightly suspicious of clicking tinyurl’s. 😉

    EDIT.

    I’ve altered the Maytag and Whirpool ones, checked all the others and found that the Candy and De De links are dead.

    Will see if I can sort the Candy one, not sure about De De though.

    Finally sussed it. The latest update to ZoneAlarm Pro had decided of its own bat to block what it considers spyware sites. Unfortunately it didn’t pop up a warning to let me know it was blocking them.
