Our Ariston LS603 is a poor performer, the soap dispenser does not open automatically and he whole washer only seems to run one of the programs properly, on the others it gets stuck or does not heat up.
Is it one for the grim reaper?

Bit of an old lady now. I *think* the dispenser is still available, about £60 last time I checked. They were shockers for breaking the wiring in the pivot point of the door, caused lots of problems.
Power off if you are going to take the door outer panel off.
