I have a 2 year old Bosch Classixx 1200S Express. Is there any way I can use a separate timer switch to start the machine ?

If it’s digital with a start button, no.

Unless you can do what Mr Guthrie did, which was to build a clockwork mechanism, which pulled a bolt and allowed a small rubber tipped hammer to drop onto the start button. Mad as a fish…..

Model number would allow us to check whether or not your machine has a delay start facility.

    Hi,

There’s a reference number on the inside of the drum door as follows:

    E-NR: WAE2416SGB/01 FD8610 102006

    Is this any help ?

    Cheers.

Dave , unfortunately there’s no in-built delay facility for this machine .
It would have to be some Heath-Robinson contraption to get this working on a timer .
