I have tested the diverter valve and tests ok, also checked voltage to the valve but am only getting 70volts to it??? Is this correct? I did trie replacing the pcb but no joy… could the diverter valve still be faulty?September 24, 2008 at 8:52 pm #263364suedehead1

You got a thing about pcbs? If it isn’t jammed, the pcb switches it. It’s a Haier – I’d run away. Very fast……

I had the unfortunate pleasure to visit this machine. Nice kitchen but shame about the dishwasher. Client says it was not washing properly on the bottom.
With me being Deaf, I can’t hear it well but I used rubber band on the rotating arms, both appears not have moved. lots of water dripping from top. Fills ok, drains ok, lots of humming noise during the wash.
Me thinks weak circulation pump or blockage. But with it being integrated, very reluctant to remove plinth cos client cares more about the floor than washing up. Does any one have diagrams or photos?
can it be changed whilst machine in place from the front or do i need to remove it completely? Judging the forum, it looks as it is a problematic machine, is this right?

Hi
The wash pump is removed from the bottom and the easiest way is to turn it upside down as most of them will require the 4 bolt/feet to be removed fully to allow removal of the base plate.
Also had the bottom paddle split along the seam which stops enough water going through the holes to turn it.Bryan

I think I know what you mean by the 4 bolts, the screw bolts that hold the tub on to the base so that need to be removed? do i just like lift up the tub to pull out the motor then?
I am not sure what you mean by the bottom paddle split. any chance of pictures?

Hi
The paddle is made up of a top and bottom piece and then plastic welded in the middle.
Yes I do mean turn the whole appliance upside down as you can spend hours trying to get into and replace the parts on some of the models as to get to them the base has to come off and the only way to do it is by removing the 6″ feet which are through the base plate and then onto the cabinet. Not an engineer friendly design.

You made it sounds like that it is not worth the time and effort to repair it let alone it is integrated dishwasher along with the fine finishings.
The client would be bemused to see me doing this on her pristine kitchen floor.
Seems easier to get new machine…. To quote Fagin on Oliver! at the end…”I shall be reviewing the situation…”

If you’d like me to cosy it up for you then I can do next time but the truth is that they’re not an engineer friendly appliance. simples..

Then workshop it then.Saves the customer hearing the @{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}?&£ whilst the engineer works on it.or take a few towels to put on the floor under the unit.
