I imagine something (a coin?) has got between the drum and it’s casing? Is that likely? Anything else likely? Where’s best to look, and what’s the prognisis for various possibilities, please? In the light of day, and with a torch, I found the offending item which was fortunately still sticking through into the drum. Part if a bra, indeed, I think… Thanks all.
