Anyone know for certain which way to turn them for colder/hotter
and what screw does what, pretty standard stat, has 2 small philiips screws in the end, one is deeper down than the other. I would like to increase the off time and raise to temp a few degrees, never seems to be off long enough to fully de ice the plate, tried brand new stat got same result.
frig is F&P n369b frig/frzer and the Freezer unit is working fine :rolls:

You may have a dud defrost time – open it up and check the resistor value is correct, or you may have a dud defrost heater.
See this link for the parts manual

Tried new d/f timer . But I think it boils down to me fitting the wrong stat for this model. right ones are on backorder so F&P Say.
Frost free Frig/Fzr stat has longer off time, I must be able to tweak it rather than wait weeks? Months?

What make of stat have you got and is the capillary tube on view or is it down a tube inside the insulation?
