I have a Whirlpool washer dryer (AWG345/4) which makes clothes wetter if you use the tumble dryer – or at least not any dryer. I can hear the pump running every so often during tumbling and the air does appear to be getting warm but clothes just dont dry.

    Any ideas?

Possibly a blockage in the condensing vessel on the back of the tub. Sometimes they get bunged up with sodden fluff.

Is that something I can get too / recognise fairly easily?

Plastic housing on the back of the drum – very awkward to get at. Always worth checking the fikter, BTW.

Power off if you’re going to pull the housing.
