Having spoken to the bosses (Ken & Alma) 😀 I can now announce that the next meeting will take place on the 20th February 2009. The venue is yet to be decided but Bryan has kindly volunteered to look after all the hotel bookings and obviously get us a discount. We have decided that this one will have a slightly different format to past meetings in that we are going to ask manufacturers, work providers and spare parts companies to come. Nearer the time I will ask for help with things such as greeters, and the catering. If anyone has anything specific that they would like to see at this meeting please post it up.

spares suppliers sounds good ,manufacturers sounds good as well .
Maybe they will be more of an incentive for people to come ?

I will need a bit of time to do something for this one.
I’ve been quiet for too long now, avoiding the presentation thing like the plague as they take so long to do. They’re not just flung together in ten minutes and require a LOT of work.
I’m working up a couple of things for the next meeting and I may also do a demo of how to work out whether it’s worth taking on work or not and show the financials of it. That should be quite interesting. 😉
I may need a volunteer from the audience for something I have in mind.

Any further thoughts on this or will it be shopping and lunch in Coventry?
