ParticipantOur freezer has just died so we are seeking a replacement.
Frost-free is now available – is this reliable?
Would any Engineer(s) be able to suggest makes to steer clear of, or to wholeheartedly recommend?
We are having great trouble with Whirlpool ovens and would love to be able to buy a new freezer knowing that it will actually work and not cause months of worry!
Thank you in advance if anyone can help.
Regards

Hi Don
Thanks for taking the trouble to reply.
The freezer will be going into a utility room and fortunately we have no constraints on size. We are seeking a large frost free freezer.
Since I posted, we have been looking at Leibherr freezers, in particular model GNP 2976 (if we don’t eat for a few weeks!).
Would you have any knowledge of Liebherr as a manufacturer and this model in particular?
If you think poorly of this model, could you suggest anything else?
Thank you again.
Regards

If you do a search on this forum, you’ll find that the professionals speak very highly of Liebherr….so, I’d put it at the top of your list…….and wait for a better-qualified respondent! 😆

That model is now discontinued, however if you wanted one there may still be some available. The replacement is the GN3056 same capacity similar price, the buckets by looks of them have changed to nice deeper ones.Look no further as they say 😆
