    Hi need help on a MAYTAG Large Tumble Dryer. Model AYE2200AGW
    S/No 10885412ZB. Customer bought second hand last week, worked fine till today 6th Oct. Came home found m/c dead. Push dial in when time selected nothing. Hard Wired but getting 240 v into junction box at back and up to Timer, Any thoughts what it could be Cheers

    you tried the toc on the heater?
    that’s the likely problem.

    part no: LA-1053

    if this is the problem, check the venting.

    Thanks for that Alf will check when I go back, so the stat kills power to the dryer if not venting correctly ?

    it’s a one shot toc, that will trip if the machine gets too hot because of insufficient venting.
