    Hi Guys
Me again – and I’m hotpointless again out in the sticks

This time everything works except the last bit rinse and spin and the drum simply turns slowly around (as does the motor) is it time to call it quits and get a new machine or is this likely to be something simple?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi Just gone through all the stickies and other advice re not spinning
The thing still wont spin and does not seem to have rinsed properly either – washes ok though.

What happens if you try the machine when it is completely empty of clothes and water, does it appear to be emptying as quickly as normal?

If it will not go into spin when it is empty you may have a partial obstruction in the sump hose behind the lower back panel.

Plug out if you intend to have a look, ( you just knew I was going to add that bit, didn’t you ) 😀

    Jim.

Thanks IADOM for a prompt (in more ways than one) answer. 🙂
