With the current turmoil in the financial markets in particular the high street banking instituitions I was thinking that over the last couple of weeks although the story is that personal bank customers will be protected should their bank fail I have heard nothing about if Business Accounts fall under the same set of rules ?

If small businesses like the majority of us here sundenly were exposed and business accounts suffered losses we could well be up the creek without a paddle.

Whats the general consensus of this topic and has anyone already been affected or made enquires as to the situtation of Business Banking and what if any safeguards are available.

If they look into plundering mine, they will think someone beat them to it.

Flippancy aside, it could be frozen if the bank decide to “look after it” for a while, but would be short term.
