    Hi all,
    I have a Hotpoint Tumble Dryer Model- CTD00G, the problem i am having is that the dryer is very noisey, a bit too noisey for it to be normal, the drum spins 1 way for about 1 min (noisey) then it stops and spins the other way for about 20 seconds this way it is very very noisey,
    does anyone know of anything that could cause this as i am going to attempt to find the problem,

    yes, its the cooling fan

    normally

    althouight there were a couple of conversions to rectify noise on that model
    the cooling fan is on the right hand side ( from front)

    top off, side panel off ( 1 scre on top, 4 down back) slide it backwards slightly and lift it off
    the fan is under the grey plastic shield, in front of the belt

    available as a part in the online shop if thats the case

    you can u sually see theyre out of shape

    oh, and make sure the plugs out
