Yup, it’s a Merloni-built appliance. PCB is a possible culprit; however, ensure that filter is clear and any sink coupling (if appicable) first. Water level control system is also a suspect – there is a side hose coming off the sump hose which is prone to choking and should be cleaned out. Any slack in the drive belt can prevent spinning.
If the machine does little bursts of slightly faster drum rotation until the timer advances, then drops down to a slow idle, the pcb is the prime suspect.
Don’t stick your fingers in whilst the power’s on……
