Pool of water appears at rear of machine about an hour after drying has ended. The water bottle itself isn’t leaking and the inlet valve on it appears to work. I have read some other posts and reference is made to the inlet pipe and an intermediate tank but how do I access them? 😕 Hoping some kind person can help.
Somebody must be able to tell me how to get in without stripping the whole thing. Do I take the bottom off or what? Helllp me, pleeease.
if im honest, and im sure the rest of the guys will agree.. that particular dryer is an absolute nightmare to work on
to get to where you need to be, its a lid off/ front off/duct off/ drum out job… with lots of sharp edges and tightly, badly positioned wiring that tends to pull off its relative position
then youve gotta hope you find the leak, because your gonna have to reassemble it fully to test it.. and if it leaks… disaster
not a nice dryer to work on, and thats the reason people are hesitant
sorry to come across negative, but honesty is a policy we use keenly
Thank you for your reply. Guess I’ve got a long, slow job ahead of me. At least I’ve got small hands which might be useful in tight spots.
