Checked pump all ok selected any program no fill for a few mins then F4 fault?? In the test mode it fills then heats then after heated F4 fault flashes. The fault guide say F4 is drain pump, control board OWI (what is OWI ?) or water indicator defect (What is water indicator defect?). Any help anyone James.

OWI is optical water indicator, this is a sensor, circular in shape in the right hand side of the sump. it measures water flow i believe, i think i had a fault once where i only had to clear blokages in the spray arms to cure it, it just allows the water to run through the system faster.
having said all that, i think this model is fitted with a pressure switch. same position as the OWI would be. they get blocked up with gunge.
if you get me the service number i will be able to tell you whats fitted
