we select setting press start button dryer goes for 10 15 seconds then switches off and beeps window on facia only shows 10mins also anti crease light showws .have tested heater and overload they seem ok ……………..help please dal on 0208 997 7704

Dal you got to put wet laundry in to get m/c to work. then test 160 degree stat on top of heater.

Yeah as PGS said, you’ll probably find its in an automatic programme & if it doesn’t sense wet/damp clothes in drum it shuts off heater after a few sec’s. The sensing is measured from the drum paddles (which are insulated) to the drum.
Try testing on the setting that says timed drying. Then heater should be on constant.
