Could someone advise on the likely cause of the oven not working and advise on the best way forward please – any help would be greatly appreciated. The symptoms are…The grill element, internal light and fan work OK. Thermostat ‘clicks’ when you turn the temperature control dial, so I assume this is working OK.
However, the oven doesn’t heat up at all. Have checked the circular element at the back of the oven and looks as good as new. Fan is clean and rotating well. Could it still be that the element is broken even though it looks perfectly OK? I have turned the oven off and on at the mains and reset the clock, but this doesn’t make any difference either.
