Every year we seem to be telling everyone that this year’s conference looks set to be the best yet and we’re doing it again this time round as well, because it is.
The conference takes place on Friday this week, the 24th February 2017 and you can get all the details of time and venue as well as register from this page on Eventbrite.
If you do want to attend and you’ve not registered please do so as soon as possible because so far there are over 175 people attending and tickets are limited.
What’s Happening?
Oh you know, the usual just some of the trade causing trouble as normal with a bunch of things. 😉
But seriously and, not what people sometimes say about the conferences, there is a pretty big announcement for WTA members, they’ll like it. Along with that setting out what the WTA is doing for repairers.
There’s a thing about brands.
A thing about the environment with guests on stage.
John Graham from Repairtech will be explaining all about sourcing appliances from foreign shores, how all that works and it’s really interesting stuff.
Our friend Malcolm Scott from Swift will be updating us all on current trends in the industry, which nicely leads us onto some trends we see and then some expansion on that.
In other words, there’s a fair bit happening and it’s all good, interesting stuff.
Here’s the thing though, all that is spoken of at the conferences is live, there’s no script and many of the topics on stage are from discussions and events right up until the speakers take to the stage. It’s always fresh, it’s always relevant and it’s always interesting and engaging.
And while you might think we are being a bit humorous there let us reassure you, while all this is done in a fun and entertaining way, the content is full of some really serious stuff.
Have Your Say
For attendees we strongly encourage you to download the Crowd Mics app as that is used during the conference. You can find out more on the Crowd Mics website here
Crowd Mics let you, a guest in the audience, ping up questions to the speakers on stage live via text message or even to talk from the floor directly into the AV system. It’s brilliant.
If you’ve got questions, you can get answers right there and then.
Don’t Miss It
The sheer effort that we and the WTA put into these events is huge, it’s well worth making the time to attend and there’s many, many reasons not to miss the annual conference.
Whether you want to get new contact, talk with new or existing suppliers, just sit back and enjoy the show, catch up with friends or all of it, it’s a great day that almost everyone finds well worthwhile.
We look forward to seeing you there.
