this fridge freezer suffers from low temp in the fridge

is there a simple fix for this one does it have a thermistor that goes down or is the pcb suspect

Is there an ice build up on the evaporator, check the air ducts to the fridge are not blocked with ice, is the fan working, is the compressor cooling fan working. Remove grill from bottom front is it blocked up with pet fur. If everything seems OK change the evaporator and freezer thermistors.

Freezer thermistor 2600283, or Indesit No C00216809, Green Plug. Evaporator thermistor 2601683 or Indesit No C00218184, Yellow Plug. I give you both Nos as I believe Hotpoint are in the process of changing to Indesit part Nos. Best of luck.

FFA70 thermistors are foamed in and cannot be replaced,

There’s no compressor cooling fan and the condenser is on the back. Is the diverter valve stuck open/closed?

these models suffer from a build up of ice in the duct moulding at rear of freezer. 🙁

firstly check for ice, if it is present get rid with hairdrier.

secondly, replace old fan seal cos these tend to get moist and then freeze up which allows the ice to make contact with the fan and stop it working and also make sure the foam on back of the duct moulding is securely sealed down with foil tape to prevent moisture ingressing and then eventually freezing up.

stats are not replaceable as they are foamed in.

if fault is still present then fit new control module..job done 😀
