Anyone had an error 8 fault yet on the ISE5v2?

Had one today which seems to be intermittantly stopping with E08.

Once reset the programme may or may not go right through.

I have checked all the wiring, tightened connections and tested accordingly. All fine for me.

Any thoughts as the customer is phoning later tonight with the results
of her next batch of washing.

    Cheers

    Tim.

    Hi Tim,

Check motor connections and the short harness plugs (from motor to inverter board ) are fully pushed home.

Sean, I may have sorted it, customer hasn’t phoned back yet.
I just wanted to know what to advise customer if she does still have a
    problem.

Would it be the motor at fault? Or the motor pcb?

    Thanks,

    Tim.

    Update:

Fitted new motor and invertor board 7 days ago. Rang customer today and all is well.

It will be interesting to find out which part was at fault once I get parts back to Sean.

Changing the invertor board was easy, the motor was a different story. Getting the four torx screws out was no problem. It was ‘teasing’ the motor off the mounts that was difficult.

    Anyway job done.
