    hi guys have to repair a beko free standing cooker. the said the thought it was the fan oven element the tryed a new element. still did not work is their any over heat stats in these cookers.

    its a while from i worked on one of these free standing cookers how do i get the front panell of to get at the thermostat switch thanks fasetester 🙂

    check the thermal fuse at the backl of the oven coming off the mains block clipped to the cavity prone to going o/c and fan oven dead.

    thanks robinsonrobbo for your reply. how do i get the front panel of to get at thermostat switch. do i need to take the side panels off fasetester 🙂

    Take the back off – you will see the thermal fuse to the right hand side and from memory there’s another one in the middle area.

    thanks chris and dales for your reply. dont have the model number said the would ring back. are the free standing beko cookers not much the same most have the switches at the front and come apart the same way to get at the thermostat is this not the case. thanks 🙂 fasetester.

    if its the usual one, just take the back panel off

    link wire goes from neutral on terminal block to clock or selector, depending on wheter it has a clock or not

    twist the fuse together to see if it will work then if so then go ahead and replace if not get your meter out !
