ParticipantHiya!
A long story short, we have been given a
Neff Electric Oven B-AP21-7 B1920B0GB/02 FD7704
3-AP21-7 195.311262 212736 (they are all the numbers on the side)The oven came as part of a secondhand kitchen with a hob and there is no electrical cable coming out of any part of the oven. Is there a special connection required? Should a cable be coming out of the back, top, bottom, side??? Any clues would be very much appreciated.
With much love and thanks for looking.

I’m not familiar with that model but normally if it’s a double oven you wire it with 6mm twin & earth cooker cable. There is usually a small square or rectangular panel you remove to get at the terminals but there are often more than 3 as in some countries they use 3 phase domestic electricity. If you can’t work out which 3 to use you can report back and we might be able to help.

Thank you so much for that! It is a single oven built into a 600mm housing with a solid plate Neff hob to fit into a worktop.
We did rather well on the kitchen unit deal and it would be icing on the cake if we could get the oven and hob to work as well!
We will examine the beasty closely.
The next part of the game is working out which model the built in extractor is … no part numbers to be seen anywhere and we want to know it can be used without an outside flue and what filters are needed etc. Any ideas on that???
Kindest regards

For a single oven you can manage with 2.5mm cable. Do you know the make of the hood? Sometimes you can cut up universal felt filter material and refill the odour filters with loose charcoal. You may find there is a flap or lever you can move inside the appliance to switch from recirculated to vented.
