    Hi, Any help appreciated.

    My Whirlpool ADG 7550 is making a louder dull noise which appears to be coming from the drain pump. I’ve taken it off and checked for blockages and it’s clear. I took the pump apart and there was water between the housing and the magnet. I take it this is not normal?

    Put it back together and will still not work. There are no flashing lights on the top panel.

    Is it the drain pump or could it be something else?

    Hope you can help.

    If the pump hums and is not blocked, it’s just a tired old pump. You need one of THESE.

    Power off, first.
