Customer atempted to repair this machine and decided to take wires off pressure switch and then put them back on wrong way round???
looking down into machine their are 3 connection points
on far left bottom a wire marked with the number 1
purple is now attached to middle
and 2 wires together now on right hand side both white coloured?i used to keep hotpoint service engineers manual for these machine but have now gone?

ok on my diagram ( off hotpoints servicenet)
1 – white (3 on blue edge connector on timer)
2 – white (4 on the blue edge connector on the timer)
3 – violet/black to heater
4 – white (5 on the blue edge connector on the timer)if your struggling with that, i can send u a pdf manual, jst need yer email addy?
