    Hi I have this fridge freezer, the fridge is not cooling, freezer is fine, there was a large block of ice in the bottem of the freezer advised customer to defrost she had the appliance turned off for 2 days i have replaced the ntc she has tured back on and 36hrs later the fridge is still not cold however freezer is ok – any ideas on what may be wrong??

    it could be the fan!

    has it had the modification done?

    obvously the air isnt getting into the fridge… if the fan is running, there is an obstruction in the flow vent

    WILL NEED THE MOD DOING ALSO A FRIEND WORKS AT BOSCH AND THEY HAVE JUST BOUGHT OUT ANOTHER MOD, AS THE LAST MOD STILL FAILS.

    THE PREVIOUS MOD WAS HEATER AT REAR, METAL PLATE IN FREEZER AND NEW PCB WHICH TO BE FAIR NORMALLY WORKS.

    Thanks guys. It has had no modification done to it as i am the first engineer she has ever called out. What does the mod consist of and where can i find the info on what/how to do it please? The appliance was definately defrosted fully when i returned so doubt it will be a blockage? Unsure if fan is running at mo tho… will check.

    the fan wont run if the fridge door is open

    pcb=644127
    aluminium plate=679167
    heater=642980 Only with FD 8604 to 8612 and if the KI is not 99.
    all must be replaced together hope this helps
