ParticipantMy dishwasher has stopped filling with water. I have undone the inside bottom of washer, removing and cleaning all filters, pipework ect, found a small piece off my grandsons sippy cup near the wheel, but when I switch it on all i get is the element really heating (red hot) but no water. The filters are shot at… broken so they dont really work as filters anymore, but i dont wanna go and pay £30.00+ for new filters and find out I need to replace more parts, could end up too costly.
Can anyone advise?

If the heater is on, the machine thinks that it is full of water. Therefore, you have a problem with the water level control system. This may be a blockage in the air chamber or a failed pressur switch.
Power off if you intend to do this yourself.

Ive managed to remove the air chamber tube from the bottom of dishwasher, and cleaned it. It was full of grease and debris. Washer is now working fine but I need to replace a few parts. Grey Dishwasher Filter, Dishwasher Central Filter, Lower Basket Wheel and Lower Spray Arm Nozzle. Ive managed to find all the parts on espares for £35.55 but not sure if the “lower spray arm nozzle” will fit or whether i need to replace the whole lower spray arm which will add another £20.00+ to the total cost.
My model is Tricity Bendix DH090 number 911731012.
Any help would be appreciated and I thank everyone on “Ukwhitegoods.co.uk” for such a brilliant site and lots of help.November 2, 2008 at 2:27 pm #267207Penguin45

Cunning title edit noted……..
Now if you’d said Tricity Bendix in the first place, I’d have sent you for a read of THIS. 😀
If by spray nozzle you mean the offset jet on the bottom of the rotor, you want p/no 1523172-10/2. You may save a few bob by passing your enquiry through to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk .

Do you want me to edit your link Chris, I know we are Gods but perhaps spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk may be better in this instance. 😆

sorry, I dont know what possessed me to put Indesit in the first place. I had read the above thread and thats when I realised my washer was a Tricity Bendix and not an Indesit.
THIS is what i was looking at but not sure if its the correct one for my dishwasherNovember 2, 2008 at 4:31 pm #267210Penguin45

Of course, some Mods just quietly do the edit without making a fuss about it…….
Nicky, that certainly looks like the same part – eSpares use their own stock codes rather than the manufacturers part numbers, so I can’t cross refer.
