    Hi all.

Any assistance appreciated here. Recently moved in to a house with the said dishwasher. Previous occupants left manuals for every other appliance apart from the dishwasher.

When starting a cycle (either cold rinse or wash) it just hum’s like if the motor is doing something. That never ends. No water appears inside. On the front In-progress & Salt are lit up.

have checked the water pipe, and that is turned on. what else should I check for.

    thanks again.

Sounds as if there may well be something blocking the pump, that’s the first thing I’d check.

Initial sequence upon starting the programme should be drain, followed by fill. If you are certain that the water is on and flowing the problem may be either the flood protection system activated (Water in base raises float, works switch and over-rides the timer) or the timer not advancing off the drain position (Can you hear it ticking?).

Power off if you plan to investigate this yourself.
