    Hello,

My grill element went very dramatically the other day. I have looked on this site for useful information but wanted to check a few things.

    I believe i need this: – http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Cooker+{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} … ement.html

Also it looks like its rivited on but now i’m wondering if the plate has studs that are secured by nuts from the back. Can someone point me in the right direction to this and whether is it a nightmare to pull out the oven, strip whatever is required down to fit a new element from the back?

    Many Thanks

The element is indeed attached with nuts from the back…locate and undo the screws that secure the oven to the housing and slide it onto a suitable bench (B & D workmate is ideal)…remove the back cover panel to gain access.
Power off at all times :zap:
