Our Creda 37754 Condenser Dryer has today developed what appears to be a significant fault. Every time the machine is started it blows a 13 amp fuse in plug AND trips the RCD on the consumer unit. (the neon light on dryer is on when the power to dryer is on, this only blows when the go button is pressed)

Any ideas what could be causing this? – or it’s a call to a local creda / white goods engineer.

Does anyone know a good service engineer in Leamington Spa / Warwick?

    Thanks
    Dave

    itll be the heater

plug out…. take off back banjo shaped panel…. if water comes out, the you need to dry it all out with a hairdryer , including the heater

    can only but try

    Thanks helo,

No water in the back, took top off and checked electrical connections where I could reach and removed cap off the pump drain ’round the back and twizzled a long cable tie up the pipe up to the impeller.

    Now works again. Yay! ‘:P’

    Thanks again.
